There is a lot of flood damage though. The week before we arrived there was a big "100 year" flood. Many houses and businesses were affected. There are still piles of trash lining the streets. It's very sad to look at. We even passed by some poor lady that had about 100 photos drying out in her front yard. Despite the obvious flood damage everyone seems to be in good spirits.
Cora and I went to the county fair this past Saturday. (Jonathan had to work Sat, Sun, and Mon.--Yuck!) Here are a few photos of Cora enjoying the animals.
