I can't believe I'm saying this.
Joel,a guy on the crew, just died.
He was only 27! Just working away like normal and had a heart attack!!!
Please pray for the crew and for Joel's family!

Update 6:30pm:
Jonathan told me a little more of what happened.
He was working up on the tank near Joel and found him face down, blue faced, and not breathing. They called 911 and Jonathan and one of the other guys did CPR until the safety guys got there and took over. Then Jonathan went to the gate to meet the ambulance and direct them to their site. The EMTs did everything they could but he did not recover.
All the guys were then interviewed by the safety department and the police.

Jonathan is over with the guys this evening packing up Joel's stuff in the hotel for his family.

It was all very sudden and happened so quickly.

It's strange to go on like normal when someone just died today. Feels like we should do something but what is there that we can do.

We are trying not to have to tell Cora about this. She has had to experience so much death already. The poor little girl doesn't need to hear about anymore so soon.

Thank you for your continued prayers for Joel's family, the crew, and Jonathan.

Side note to our family: This may effect our Christmas plans. Jonathan will be going to the funeral in Kansas at some point. Not sure when they will be able to finish up the job here. We were supposed to be going back to Waco on Monday, but that's going to happen now. Once it's all settled will let you know.
