Shots

I finally managed to make it to Shots for Tots.

Blows my mind that our insurance will not cover basic vacs. We could pay well over $300 at the office, or get them for free at a shot clinic.

Needless to say, we went for the free ones.

So early this week, we found the little old mobile unit in front of Brookshires and climbed in.

The wait wasn't too long. Cora had to have four but thankfully one was a combo. She was very brave for the 1st one, crying fot the 2nd, and I had to hold her arms for the third. But after her choice of suckers she was all smiles again.

Caleb had to have 4 sticks. He was crying and kicking the entire time. Took some muscle to hold him still.

After the 2nd shot while crying, he look at the nurse and said "Happy." Then when she finally announced "Okay, all done" he looked at her with tears on his cheeks and said in his sad little voice "Tank Cue."
Adorable.

All in all they both did wonderful. Thankfully, Caleb won't need more until his 4th birthday and with the exception of an overlooked 2nd Hep A shot, Cora's good until her 11th. Sweet.
