After touring the caverns, we hit the road again. Finally pulling into the Abilene KOA around 8:00.
This is a nice park.
It is clean and well kept. There are rental cabins, a pool, and cute little dog park. The playground is a little old, though. It has good sized, tree covered sites. Not very much grass and a few too many ants.
Overall this is a nice park, and we would camp here again. Nice place to stay while visiting the Abilene, TX area.
