First day at VBS in Shreveport

Today Cora started VBS. She was very excited when I picked her up and seemed to have had a good time.




On Sunday, we visited the church where she is attending VBS, since the church we have been attending here in Shreveport doesn't have VBS.

It's a HUGE church. They took over a small mall, and transformed the store fronts into rooms, offices, meeting halls, etc. I believe they said that the sanctuary is the old JC Penny's department store. With the exception of the large banquet hall and sanctuary, it still looks very much like a mall. It's a pretty amazing facility.

Last night they had their VBS kickoff with free pizza and inflatable bounce houses. Caleb and Cora loved jumping and running around. Caleb especially enjoyed running around in the large open space.
