2009 Year End Review

The Loya Family started out 2009 celebrating the new year circled round a fire in Waco, Texas with our friends, a fellow tankie/RV family.

A few weeks later Jonathan turned 31.

Caleb had his first haircut and, the kiddos were able to help raise a litter of kittens born in our storage shed.

In March, I turned 30 and we headed down to a very short job in New Orleans. Where we caught more beads than we knew what to do with.
Mardi Gras was a blast!

Two weeks later we landed in Shreveport, Louisiana.
In April, we met up with our families in Dallas to celebrate sweet Cora's 4th Birthday!

At Shreveport Community Church we were challenged to grow closer to God and to tap into his amazing power.

I attended two women's small groups and completed a Beth Moore bible study.

It was a wonderful time of growing and developing new friendships. The kids still talk about the friend they made there.

We also celebrated 8 years of wedded bliss. Cora began her first year of homeschooling, and joined her first soccer team.

In September, we let the kiddos visit Grandpa and Grandma while we enjoyed an extended weekend at The Armstrong in downtown Fort Collins, CO. I rode around on a red New Belgium cruiser bike and got my first tattoo, while Jonathan attended the annual company meeting.

Our baby boy, Caleb, rang in his 2nd birthday in Shreveport surrounded by loving friends and family.
While we played, Jonathan and the crew built a 170 ft (aprox 17 stories) tall smoke stack.

November had us packing up and hitting the road again.
We were planning to spend some time relaxing up in North Texas, but there was a last minute change of plans...
We pulled out of Shreveport and landed in Austin, TX just before Thanksgiving.

We were blessed to be able celebrate this past Thanksgiving and Christmas with our families.

In 2010, we are looking forward to exploring Austin before we head to the next job. We are excited to see what God has planned for our lives this year.

Looking forward to seeing more of the U.S.and meeting new friends.

Where ever the road takes us, we'll be living and loving life together as a family.
