Family Day at the Power Plant

TIC, the general contractor for this power plant, hosted a family day down at the job site today.





They had bounce houses, a climbing wall for the kiddos, and a few of the big work trucks for the kids to sit in.

They job site is next door to a fire station, so they had some trucks out for the kids to explore as well.

The big draw was the huge crawfish boil.

Seems everyone around here really likes these mud bugs.

I can't eat them.

I just don't like food that looks at me. Plus the whole dissection of this little bugger is just not worth the effort. It's a lot of work for very little meat.


For us non crawfish eaters, they provided hot dogs and chips.
Not sure that was much better, but at least it didn't still have eyes.

It was a wonderful afternoon, minus the heat.

Great for the kids to get to see where Daddy works.
